Title:
GLIBC High Power License Fix for Ubuntu 16.04.4

Status in intel:
  Fix Released
Status in glibc package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
  Description:

The necessary code will help avoid the high power license number on
Ubuntu 16.04. The package has been updated in current version:
  https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/glibc/2.23-0ubuntu10.

We need Canonical to help back port this to Ubuntu 16.04 release.

  x86-64: Use fxsave/xsave/xsavec in _dl_runtime_resolve -

In _dl_runtime_resolve, use fxsave/xsave/xsavec to preserve all
vector, mask and bound registers. It simplifies _dl_runtime_resolve
and supports different calling conventions. ld.so code size is reduced
by more than 1 KB. However, use fxsave/xsave/xsavec takes a little bit
more cycles than saving and restoring vector and bound registers
  individually.

  Target Release: 16.04.4
