Public bug reported:

grub-install will fail if the /boot partition is located on a MD raid
device level 1 backed by 4k sectorsize devices, NVMe drives in my case.

Steps to Reproduce:

1°) Create a raid1 with 1.0 superblock with two 4k sectorsize devices
2°) Create a partition for /boot and format it FAT32
3°) Mount /boot
4°) grub-install complains about not be being able to find the mduuid device

** Affects: grub2 (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New

** Affects: grub2 (CentOS)
     Importance: Unknown
         Status: Unknown
