Hello, the attached logs look like there was an attempt to upgrade from
14.04 LTS to 16.04 LTS that might not have gone well.
At this point you may have better luck untangling your system via
#ubuntu on irc.freenode.net or http://askubuntu.com.

Status in ubuntu-release-upgrader package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
updated to ubuntu 14.04 from 12.04 LTS, could'nt upgrade my system and
C++ compiler started to show many error to already succesfully
compiled files. Will it be helpfull to reinstll ubuntu 12.04 again.
Plz. tell how to reinstall it, as I don't find any optionfor that.
