Public bug reported:
while formatting, after selecting all installation options, the system begins to install the Ubuntu 18.04 LTS, but it crashes on the grub-installer.
Actually, I've formatted and re-installed about 5 times the Ubuntu 18.04 LTS and after installed the PC don't boot normally. When I restart the system it initiates well, but if I turn it off, then try to turn on again, it do not boot even if waiting 15~20 minutes. When this occurs, I press the power button to force it to turn off and then return it on. When re-turning it the grub screen shows and by selecting "ubuntu" the system boot and initiates normally.
Trying to correct this I was re-formatting and re-installing the Ubuntu 18.04 LTS, but this time a 'grub installation error' message appeared and crashed it.
I don't know while is this related to the installer or with my UEFI/legacy BIOS.
My computer is a Lenovo Ideapad 300 - 15ISK model 80RS
