The kernel driver (dkms) fails to build due to the bad logic in
drivers/Makefile trying to detect the non-existent modversions.h (Ubuntu
kernels do not use CONFIG_MODVERSIONS ) and thus not adding
-I$(KERNEL_DIR)/include to the search path  - so cannot find
linux/init.h

Even with that fixed there is no asm/linkage.h since
$(KERNEL_DIR)/build/arch/x86/include is not in the search path.
