** Description changed:
+ [Impact]
+
disco was released with an early GCC 9 version, not used as the default
compiler. This SRU updates gcc-9 to the 9.1.0 release. The changes
were present in eoan for a while, and no regressions were seen so far.
The changes should go to the security pocket, so that the toolchain
packages are available for security uploads as well.
gcc-9-cross and gcc-9-cross-ports are just rebuilds using the updated
gcc-9-source package.
+ [Test Case]
+
Acceptance criteria: No regressions in the GCC 9 testsuite, and the
cross packages just build.
+
+ [Regression Potential]
+
+ There always is regression potential as this is a completely new
+ upstream version of the toolchain packages, but it's basically
+ impossible to predict in which areas it could happen. That being said,
+ it is not the default compiler on the series.
+
+ [Additional Info]
+
+ These 3 packages should be released to both -updates and -security.
