[Bug 1851104] [NEW] Acer Nitro 5 dual nvme wont allow me to install ubuntu

Public bug reported:

Purchased an Acer Nitro 5 an515-54-XXX with dual nvme. installed windows
on one, finally got the ubuntu installer to see the second ssd, cant
install grub on it. also cant change sata mode from rst with optane to
ahci no matter what in the BIOS. tried all work arounds including safe
boot, nothing works, im hopeless right now guys. Again thank you so much
for all the great work, keep it up !!
