Title:
  xubuntu 19.10 daily (Wed 09 Oct 2019 ) is stuck on install

Status in ubiquity package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Installer is stuck with spinning wheel after clicking CONTINUE at the
  "Updates and other software" screen.

  QA-install, full disk ; both download updates & install 3rd party
  selected, then CONTINUE..

  It's been stuck at screen maybe an hour.

  Box - hp dc7700 (c2d-e6320, 5gb, nvidia quadro nvs 290)

  fyi:  "Check disc for defects" passed prior to install; I'll re-do check & try again.
  Box was used for multiple Lubuntu installs yesterday without issue.
