Could you please provide some information regarding the type of the
install that you did? The log files in /var/log/installer/ would be
helpful. Thanks in advance?

  19.10 Beta won't boot after grub

Status in grub2 package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  I installed Ubuntu 19.10 on a X1 carbon.

  The installation itself succeeded. Including a grub install.
  The boot process halts after selecting ubuntu in grub.

  An install of ubuntu 19.04 didn't ran into these problems.
