[Bug 1850285] [NEW] Unable to enable (see error in description)

Public bug reported:

While attempting to enable firmware update thru `fwupdate -e` command, I
recieve following error message:

"Firmware updates can not be enabled on this machine from this tool."

If it's impossible to use this, then why it's even implemented ?
