When I tested daily ISO on power8 system, I had used samaba share to
serve up the iso that was mounted as virtual CDROM. The issue was the
dos character set that was served by the samaba server was different
from that of the BMC. This resulted in the installed failing on certain
package names that had a combination of '.' and '-'s. The work around
was to use the following in the samaba config.

[global]
  mangled names = no
  dos charset = CP437
  unix charset = UTF-8

[winshare]
  path=/var/winshare
  browseable = yes
  read only = no
  guest ok = yes

If you are experiencing a similar issue, please check your samaba conf
and use a char set as suggested above.
