Title:
  Software Updater does not apply updates on click

Status in update-manager package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  When I open the Software Updater, it loads the available updates, then
  shows the option to upgrade the software by "Install Now" or otherwise
  "Remind me later". If I click on "Install Now", I'd expect it to
  install, but nothing happens.

  It used to work properly until last week.
