  I saw the need to sync with upstream as both Ubuntu and Debian were
  behind for sometime. I'm splitting that need in this bug. I worked
  with upstream (Debian) at:

  and I think its finally good enough to be uploaded to experimental and
  after maintainer's test to unstable.
