I just found an update for Chrome, told it "n" and it stopped. Tried it
several times. Looks like it was a fluke, or I somehow did something
wrong.

Thank you for looking into this. I am never going back to Micro$haft!
:D

Title:
apt update continued to update after I said "n" at the prompt

Status in apt package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
I ran "apt update" and see there were packages that needed update, I
wanted to see wihch ones, so I ran "apt upgrade", looked at the
packages needing to be upgraded, realized it would take too long and I
was already running behind so I said NO to the prompt to continue. It
then proceeded to complete the updates as if I had said yes. See
  attached screen shot.
