After the install, or in the live-session (try ubuntu) does the battery
indicator in the top right have the right status?
I.e. when you plugin the cable does the icon have a small lightning next
to it indicating charging; and no lightning when unplugging?
Cause it might be a laptop/kernel/power-source detection issue or a bug
in ubiquity.
