[Bug 1889312] [NEW] bios bug

Public bug reported:

grub2 installation failed ...says fatal error ..i am new to ubuntu don't
no much and i tried the normal clean installation with online updation
.... now it says installation complete and requires restart ...however
after restart nothing happens .... as of such i have updated my bios
recently ... and the error report shows there is a bios bug bug :acpi
bios error (bug):could not resolve symbol etc ... my system config is:
i5-7400,gtx 1050ti,gigabyte b250 d2v motherboard ,8gb corsair ram
