Perhaps the "Updating snaps..." status is misleading. What update-
manager is really doing here is checking for updates, not the actual
updates themselves. If updates are found, the status will change to
"Removing snap x" or "Installing snap y" etc., and the progress bar will
begin displaying the percentage completed as each are processed.

- the Details button does not work
- there is no percent-progress indicator shown
Please fix/improve these.
