Not all devices can have their ROM read. This is one that can't.

** Changed in: fwupd (Ubuntu)

Title:
fwupdmgr file read error on RTL810xE PCI Express Fast Ethernet
  controller

Status in fwupd package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  sudo fwupdmgr verify [DEVICEID]

  gives

failed to verify RTL810xE PCI Express Fast Ethernet controller: failed
to read firmware: Error reading from file: Input/output error

Is there some file-permission error in the system, or the fwupd
definition for this device is wrong, or something ? The device is not
updatable according to fwupdmgr; maybe that is causing the error ?
