  Grub2 in Kubuntu 10.4 does not work on dual boot configurations

Status in grub2 package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: grub2

  Grub detects the win7 installation with a new Kubuntu 10.4
  installation, but it will not go to win7 if chosen. It resets the
  computer and boots back into grub with the same result. It can only
  boot Kubuntu 10.4.

  I have a intel quad with 4 disks ( Win7 and Kunbuntu oon disk1 ( sda1 and sda3).
  The version is : Linux version 2.6.32-21-generic (buildd at yellow) (gcc version 4.4.3 (Ubuntu 4.4.3-4ubuntu5) ) #32-Ubuntu SMP Fri Apr 16 08:09:38 UTC 2010

  I believe this to be a show stopper bug in the beta version of Lucid.
  I have also tested it on computers with vista and XP with the same
  problem.
