Bug description:
Currently Ubuntu 20.04 contains an updated version of boost,
which is "FIX RELEASED" via
BZ: https://bugzilla.linux.ibm.com/show_bug.cgi?id=182852
LP: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/boost1.71/+bug/1859941
While trying to backport the upstream implementation for older boost
library versions IBM found the current version to be broken and have
new patch was provided.
IBM provided some fixes ontop of the current implementation:

The pull request has just been accepted.
Please also pick up the following patch for Ubuntu 20.04:
