Title:
lubuntu installer xfs file system creation failed

Status in ubiquity package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
trying to install lubuntu on a virtualbox vm on a 10gb virtual hd.
  1gb swap - 9gb xfs as /
it creates the swap area but during the xfs creation it fails and only tells
"The xfs file system creation in partition #2 of SCSI3 (0,0,0) (sda) failed"

Using live mode, installing "xfsprogs" first and then using the graphical installer (without rebooting obviously) it works.
Shouldn't there be the option for xfs creation "out of the box"?
