  Lucid ubiquity installer hangs at 99% on install after requesting

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: ubiquity

  Trying to install Lucid on a Sun VirtualBox VM. Tried booting off ISO
  and selecting "Install Ubuntu": starts ubiquity, then I click "Update
  this installer" and it starts updating but hangs at 99% forever.
  Restart VM, and this time boot into the LiveCD first; then start the
  installer. Same click to "Update this installer", and same hang at
  99%, but this time preceeded by a crash which won't report due to not
  running the latest packages etc.
