  grub-install fails with error code 1

Status in grub2 package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  Reinstalling GRUB via Boot-Repair gave me the following log:
  http://paste.ubuntu.com/1024721/

  As you can see:
  - grub-setup /dev/sda returns returns exit code 1 and the following error:
  cannot stat /boot/grub/boot.img
  - grub-install --recheck /dev/sda returns exit code 1
