  Installer crashed at the end of installation

Status in ubiquity package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  Installed Ubuntu 10.10 yesterday and all was fine up to the end where I got an error message.
  "Installer crashed..." the message apologized for the crash and recommended me to send in this bug report.
   
  After reboot the system seems ok, but I gather that I miss some applications and possibly some configurations. Although I do not know which...
