Bug description:
  Binary package hint: grub2

  i am installing ubuntu desktop x86_64 10.10 in a new vmware
  workstation vm.  i am selecting to install on physical partitions (one
  swap, one ext4).  i select the vmware virtual root disk for grub
  installation.  install proceeds normally until running the bootloader.
  the bootloader fails and gives three radio button options for
  continuing.  i have tried all three options, multiple times.  when i
  click 'ok' to continue, nothing happens.  i then power down the vm and
  restart from scratch.  i am willing to provide any further info that
  might help analyze/resolve this.
