Bug description:
  Binary package hint: apport

  "man apport-bug" says "you should always start with running apport-bug
  without arguments, which will present a list of known symptoms".

  I ran "apport-bug" from the command line.  An "apport" dialog appeared asking "What kind of problem do you want to report" and offering me 5 choices.  
  I did _not_ select any of the choices, and pressed the [OK] button.
  apport-bug crashed and printed this
