Title:
Black screen with messages after new install 17.10

Status in grub2-signed package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  I installed Ubuntu 17.10 "Artful Aardvark" - Alpha amd64 (20170919) on
my PC from an USB key . The installation run without errors but after
the message 'Installation complete ... restart now' i saw just a black
  screen with only 3 messages:

  Couldn't get size: 0x800000000000000e
MODSIGN: Couldn't get UEFI db list
  Couldn't get size: 0x800000000000000e
  and nothing else.

After a while I pressed the power-off button and at power-on the
  system started ok.

I have a multi-boot on an UEFI disk:

I have the same problem installing on a different partition from DVD.
I had also the same problem installing a preceding daily on a different hardware (my HP laptop)

After install I have not done anything on this partition (I'm working
from another one) so i may provide all the logs to help diagnose the
  problem.
