yes, zeroing out the disk with dd lets the install continue, however not
as wanted (forced multipath, see LP: #1902855).

Bug description:
seen with the 20.10 server installer:
Standard install, only selecting the local keyboard. After confirming
the disk layout (whole disk, unchanged defaults), the screen to ask
for the user information is displayed. Just waiting ... and then you
see a pop-up that the installation failed.
Trying to send the report, I see a python traceback for just a moment,
and then the pop-up about sending or restarting the installer re-
appears
