I believe this is because python-enum34 was a backport of a feature
which exists in Python 3.4 and the default version of python3 in Ubuntu
20.10 is Python 3.8.6 so presumably a backport or enum is not needed.

then why is python-enum34 missing in 20.10 [universe]
