Thank you for the bug report, according to the log the error was

'error: cannot copy `/usr/lib/grub/x86_64-efi-signed/grubx64.efi.signed'
to `/boot/efi/EFI/ubuntu/grubx64.efi': No space left on device.'

Could you give some details on your partition setup. Did you have no efi
partition or was it too small?
