[Bug 1894399] [NEW] ubuntu not updating from 18 to 20

Public bug reported:

When trying to upgrade ubuntu from 18 to 20 it told me to use ppa-purge
but after using that it didn't work (and yes I first installed it),
causing me to be unable to update my os pls fix this issue.
