I tried to revert to previous checkpoint for Ubuntu Sever 20.4 under
Hyper-V. Revert was successful but later when I tried to upgrade
packages which were eventually already upgraded previous to Revert, then
I got this same problem while package upgrade in current snapshot.

I think option "--target=x86_64-efi" in below command matters:

grub-install -v --target=x86_64-efi --recheck /dev/sda
