I also have this bug on RPi 4 4GB.
Although this error pops up during bootup, the entire system seems to boot and work perfectly fine.

I think this bug is caused by this: 
'//uboot/ubuntu/boot.sel'

I think the right value in that place should be:
'/uboot/ubuntu/boot.sel'

Any ideas where this line should be changed? GRUB?

  Confirmed

Bug description:
  Installed Ubuntu 20.04.02 on a Pi4.
  On boot I get an error message: Failed to load '//uboot/ubuntu/boot.sel'.
  It boots from an sdcard.

  Ubuntu boots, only that I get that error message.
  On 20.04 and 20.04.01 did not have this issue.
