dash is POSIX-compliant shell similar to bash. Looking at your bug
report you probably intended to report your problem against the 'Unity'
package.

Ubuntu 15.04 (vivid) reached end-of-life on February 4, 2016 so I'm
closing this bug report as "Invalid".

If you are still using Unity as your desktop environment and continue to
see this problem then please open a new bug report by running the
following command in a terminal:

   ubuntu-bug unity

which will gather relevant information from your current Ubuntu
installation.

  Dash doesn't respect touchpad tap setting

  Invalid

Bug description:
  I prefer clicking to touching and I turn the touch pad tap feature
  off. But the /dash/ still reacts to multitouch taps.

  How to reproduce:

  1) Turn off the option "Tap to Click" in System Settings -> Mouse and
  Touchpad (while we're already here: something completely unrelated:
  there is an option to disable the touchpad even if it is the only
  pointer input device and it doesn't really work)

  2) Open one or two Firefox windows and minimize them

  3) Tap onto the Firefox icon with two fingers -> a Firefox window
  zooms up or shows up again
