[Bug 1915753] [NEW] installer crash, ubiquity-slideshow, root/cache/dconf

Public bug reported:

Mac G4 867MHz, 1Gb RAM, seperate 10 Gig HD. Trying to install, Live
Lubuntu 12.04 ppc. via DVD. Same issue occurs trying to install from
USB, NVidia GeForce4 MX card, ethernet hardwired. Doing upgrades and
third party app installs during installation. Installer goes to
completion, although an error message about "some or all documents
requested may not have downloaded but install will continue"

Tried to restart from Install Complete window but reboot stalls at
"remove install media and hit enter. When ENTER is hit, screen shows
symbols and hyroglyphics instead of rebooting. Selecting Continue to
Test from Install Complete window, results in the installer crash
warning.

Rebooting from the standard reboot menu ends in same result.

Shutting down and restarting does not show the Linux HD or standard yaboot startup boot select menu.
Mac OSX Tiger and OS 9.2.2 on a separate HD. Linux HD is in the top bay of the G4 (first boot disk)
