The bug reporting system guided you to file this bug against the grub
package because you have grub1 installed on your system.  This is not
installed by default, has long been deprecated, and you have installed
it without configuring it which is an error.  To restore your packaging
system to working order, do:

  sudo apt purge grub

  for the communication between arduino and the system and in both
