  20.04 LTS Xubuntu installer (amd64); encrypted fs & grub

Status in ubiquity package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  The 20.04 xubuntu installer for amd64, as downloaded yesterday, fails on two fronts:
  - it never encrypts the filesystem (I requested in two places; once during the 'external applications' dialog, and once during the 'what shall we do with this disk that we encountered ubuntu on' dialog). It just doesn't.
  - Grub installation crashes.
