  Request to support software raid devices, vroc raid also need this

Bug description:
  As OEM projects had a task of Intel VROC support, the one of targets
  is to install customized desktop on VROC RAID devices. I found that
  current casper can't support it with latest code:

  mentioned that the similar request, however, if mdadm can be seeded
  into https://code.launchpad.net/~ubuntu-core-dev/ubuntu-seeds/+git/,
  then can we make casper work with md?
