I know the bug is old, but I'm on a cleanup streak :-)
This wasn't (isn't anymore at least) in the source this was filed against.
It was in a transitional package up to xenial.
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/xenial/amd64/open-iscsi-utils/2.0.873-3ubuntu13
And there removed by
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/open-iscsi/+bug/1546877
open-iscsi itself is free of this type ( I rechecked) so we can consider this one resolved.

** Changed in: open-iscsi (Ubuntu)
       Status: New => Fix Released

Title:
  Typo in short description

Status in open-iscsi package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
  The short description for "open-iscsi-utils" is "iSCSI initiatior
  administrative utility", where "initiator" is mispelled (there is an
  additional 'i' after the second 't').

  This seemingly negligible bug had me wondering why i had no results
  when doing "apt-cache search iscsi initiator".
