Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better.
Bug reporting is mostly about finding & fixing problems thus preventing
future users from hitting the same bug.
I suspect a Support site would be more appropriate, eg.
https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu. You can also find help with your
problem in the support forum of your local Ubuntu community
http://loco.ubuntu.com/ or asking at https://askubuntu.com or
https://ubuntuforums.org, or for more support options please look at
https://discourse.ubuntu.com/t/community-support/709
You tagged the `ubiquity` package and an installer issue; though it's
been a couple of days since you installed your system, and you mention
only printing issues. I've changed the status to 'incomplete', I
suggest you seek support.
** Changed in: ubiquity (Ubuntu)
Status: New => Incomplete
** Package changed: ubiquity (Ubuntu) => ubuntu

Title:
Unable to print to usb connected HP Deskjet 2621
Status in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
I can print over wifi to the HP Deskjet 2621
1. However, Unable to print to usb connected HP Deskjet 2621
As soon as an attempt is made to reference the printer on the usb port or print over usb, the usb port is crashed/locked
The problem seems to be with usblp, ippusbxd and apparmor
If usblp is blacklisted, removed and apt remove ippusbxd is performed,
the printer on the usb port can be referenced or printed to
successfully.
However, ippusbxd is required:
a. to enable modification of network settings (Advanced Network Configuration)
b. when a ghost printer is selected, causes message 'Getting printer information....' in application print dialog window (more accurately - fails to communicate with usb connected printer in print dialog window)
