  systemd-networkd exhibits core dump on greater than 1024 addresses

Bug description:
  Attempting to add 2000 IP addresses.  However, after the 1024 mark,
  systemd-networkd reports a core dump and abandons the IP
  configuration.  systemd-networkd status:

  Is netplan not expected to support more than 1024 addresses?  Is it
  possible that it could be made to?
