Public bug reported:
Linux ubuntu 5.8.0-44-generic #50-Ubuntu SMP Tue Feb 9 06:29:41 UTC 2021
x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
Groovy Gorilla 20.10
Description: Ubuntu 20.10
Release: 20.10
$ apt-cache policy gnutls-bin
gnutls-bin:
Installed: (none)
Candidate: 3.6.15-4ubuntu2
Version table:
3.6.15-4ubuntu2 500
500 http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu groovy/universe amd64 Packages
$ vagrant --version
Vagrant 2.2.14
I'm using official vagrant binary (not the ubuntu package)
=================================================================
$ vagrant init hashicorp/bionic64
Vagrant failed to initialize at a very early stage:
There was an error while executing `VBoxManage`, a CLI used by Vagrant
for controlling VirtualBox. The command and stderr is shown below.
Command: ["--version"]
Stderr: /usr/lib/virtualbox/VBoxManage: symbol lookup error: /lib/x86_64
-linux-gnu/libgnutls.so.30: undefined symbol: __gmpz_limbs_write
=================================================================
Rebuilding libgnutls from sources fixes the issue, so i think something is wrong with package.
Would be nice to have official vagrant binary to work straight away.
