Thanks for responding.

I found the link below, deleted python2 as shown and we are currently,
finally, upgrading to 20.04.

"Removing python2 allowed the update scripts to work:
sudo apt purge python2.7-minimal"

I will use the -p on our next unit to be upgraded in the next day or so.
