  * New upstream release, 12.14-1 (LP: #1950287)
  * Removed patches merged upstream:
    - d/p/remove-vcmailbox.patch added to remove redundant config var
      VCMAILBOX
    - d/p/ignore-non-pi.patch added to exit cleanly on non-Pi hardware
  * Removed d/compat (replaced with debhelper-compat build-dep)

Status in rpi-eeprom package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
  rpi-eeprom upstream (12.14) includes quite a few changes from the
  current version in Ubuntu (12.4). Although some of these changes are
  still in the "beta" branch of the firmware, we should update to at
  least include the ability for users to test these boot eeproms if they
  wish to do so.
