Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better.

I changed ubuntu-release-upgrader (which moves a system from one
release, to a later release; eg. 21.04 to 21.10) to the linux kernel.

Bug reporting is mostly about finding & fixing problems thus preventing
future users from hitting the same bug.
