Public bug reported:

Xorg Server doesn't start anymore after an upgrade to
xorg-x11-server-21.1.1 from xorg-x11-server-1.20.13 which breaks NVIDIA
Driver 340.108. NVIDIA driver compiles fine without any issue. Using
Linux Kernel 5.15 with all patches.

Content of /var/log/Xorg.0.log:

================ WARNING WARNING WARNING WARNING ================
This server has a video driver ABI version of 25.2 that this
driver does not officially support. Please check
http://www.nvidia.com/ for driver updates or downgrade to an X
server with a supported driver ABI.
=================================================================

To fix the ABI version issue (until a patch is introduced), adjust
/etc/X11/xorg.conf with the following content:

Section "ServerFlags"
    Option "IgnoreABI" "true"
EndSection

After this xorg.conf adjustment, Xorg-server starts and works well.

** Affects: command-not-found (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
