Thank you for your bug report, according to the log you have errors on
the disk
'fs error (device sda5): htree_dirblock_to_tree:997: inode #3671587: comm mkinitramfs: Directory block failed checksum
Sep 19 23:50:06 ubuntu kernel: [ 2756.740205] Aborting journal on device sda5-8.
Sep 19 23:50:06 ubuntu kernel: [ 2756.765226] EXT4-fs (sda5): Remounting filesystem read-only'
you should try to check the filesystem at least

Title:
applications crashes, system freezes, cant install again
Status in ubiquity package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
I started to have problems with my computer (pages from chrome crashing, applications that suddenly closed, could't reset system without using the botton for reset, etc). Because of that I decided to reinstall Ubuntu 20.04 but during installation there appeared errors so I couldnt reinstall so far.
I'll try to burn another iso image and try again.
