** Tags added: apport-collected impish ubiquity-21.10.10 ubuntu
** Description changed:
- Although I can boot the live version of both Ubuntu 20.04 LTS and 21.10,
- installation fails on both. As soon as I click "Continue" on the
- "Updates and other software" section, the mouse pointer turns into a
- progress spinner but nothing seems to happen. When I open a terminal and
- run "dmesg", the last thing listed is "Fixing recursive fault but reboot
- is needed!". Rebooting and trying again, I get the same issue.
