  Ubuntu crashes on install. The browser works but nothing on the desk
  top loads.

Bug description:
  installing ubuntu on old toshiba A215-S5837 with no functional os. it
  starts the install fine then just crashes and takes me here. when I
  close the browser I cant re-open it and the desktop is empty except
  the top bar but I had to manually power off last time (second try
  now).
