The changes look reasonable to me, but I'd love to understand why this
causes issues on that architecture only?

Title:
  pcre2 10.40-1 causes siridb-server FTBFS on ppc64el

Status in pcre2 package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
Here is a link to the build log:
  https://launchpadlibrarian.net/620191401/buildlog_ubuntu-kinetic-
  ppc64el.siridb-server_2.0.48-1_BUILDING.txt.gz

  I also confirmed that doing a no-change-rebuild of siridb-server
against pcre2 10.40-1 has this issue, so it was not introduced by the
  recent siridb-server upload.
